Draft. These are the working terms for v1. Have them read before the first paying customer. Governing law is intentionally left for the owner to fill in.
Terms
Calmretry helps you see failed subscription payments and, if you subscribe, send a short sequence of emails about them. You are the sender. Customers reply to your email address.
What you give us
A restricted read-only Stripe key, described in the privacy page. You confirm that you are allowed to share that access. You also turn off Stripe's own failed-payment emails if you don't want customers to hear from both of us, and you leave Smart Retries on. We do not retry cards.
Recovery
Recovery stays off until a subscription to Calmretry is active. The sequence is four plain-text emails, on the day the failure is noticed and about 3, 7, and 12 days later. Sending stops when the invoice is paid, voided, marked uncollectible, or the subscription is cancelled, and we will not email the same customer twice inside 48 hours. You can pause all automatic sending.
An invoice counts as "paid after our email" only when it is paid after we sent at least one recovery email about it. That is a timing fact. It is not a claim that the email caused the payment.
Price and refunds
The leak report is free and refreshes monthly. Recovery is Calmretry's paid plan, chosen from measured MRR: $19, $39, or $79 a month. The first 20 customers keep that published price for the life of the subscription. It is not a discount.
The first payment can be refunded for 14 days. Email hello@calmretry.com and a person will refund that charge. This is not a guarantee that payments recovered after our email will cover the fee. After 14 days, that charge is not refunded except where the law requires it.
Limits
Calmretry is a reading and email tool. It does not guarantee recovered revenue, deliverability, or that Stripe's data is complete. You are responsible for the words in your templates and for complying with email and privacy law that applies to your customers. The place of business and governing law will be added here before launch.
